Collaborative Effort

This is another piece from the collaborative case with The Hogues, and Spirit Paranormal. A shadow was seen on the back porch more than once from the living room where everyone had gathered. One time I saw it happen and rushed back there...and didn't find anything, but this caught a sound just before the incident.

Helping out in the Paranormal Community

Craig and SOUP are fortunate to be friends with many other groups that are out doing great work in the Paranormal Community. Tim Poynter of S.P.I.R.I.T. Paranormal asked Craig to help with a case that was being headed up by Kerri Cornell Hogue and her husband Tim Hogue on Thursday November 4, 2010. A man, his young daughter, and his girlfriend have all had encouters of being touched, grabbed and pushed on top of sightings and sounds within a 3 bedroom 1920s house. There was a death in the house of a man in the 1970s believed to be a suicide. While doing the investigation, words were heard spoken aloud close to the investigators, as well as a heavy feeling befalling the place. Tim Poynter sent me pictures of something he caught crawling up Tim Hogue's back and forming a hand.

News

SOUP is starting up new investigations after some time off. We will be doing a private investigation of a large unoccupied structure on the 6th, and still talking about what the other one will be a couple of weeks later. Will keep you posted. We are also going to be in two different magazines this coming month....the links will be posted as soon as publishing is done.
We may be adding a couple brave souls to our group in the future....if everything lands that is being presented to us at the same time, we'll be in a heavenly hell!

Paranormal Meet and Greet

On Saturday, October 23rd from 12-5pm SOUP will be participating in an event at the IRVING THEATRE on the eastside of Indianapolis (5505 E. Washington St.). There will be other groups in attendance, discussions, psychics giving readings, stories.....if it is paranormal, then it is under this roof. Come visit us and feel free to ask any questions! Oh, and yes, the Irving Theatre is also a haunted, and active, location!

This one I was a little hesitant to put out on the site. This is from Craig's group of Liz, Emily, and him on the third floor of Waverly Hills Sanitorium. We came out of a room, and then went out into the hallway. We didn't see this while filming. Look above the door opening between the 14 and 15 second mark at the top left part of the screen. You will see a dark shadow move, but I don't want to say too much because we all see something a little different. I was the only one with any light source shooting that direction during the segment, and it is just the infrared illuminator on the side of the camera. No flashlights were pointed in that direction at all...so the shadow source isn't from us, and it is much darker than the other shadows cast by us! We would really like to thank everyone at the Sanitorium for being such gracious hosts to us for the night. A special yell goes out to Julie our guide. SOUP would like to thank Liz, Emily, Damon, and Clint for coming along to witness the event. It was a rough settup, but a hell of an investigation afterwards!

We have a lot more evidence from Waverly Hills that isn't going to make the site just because it is overkill. But, with that being said, this is from that same second floor camera. At both times events occurred, teams were not on the 2nd floor. We took three teams out, each with a floor between them to help with sound contamination. There were lots of screams heard at the same time on all floors that night, and also heard only on a single floor or location. This is one of those that just occurred at this spot on the 2nd floor, and didn't make the audio of any of the other cameras.

We don't usually do the tourist haunts, but we decided it would be fun to to an investigation that really was just us ghosthunting. We got the chance to go to Waverly Hills Sanitorium in Louisville KY in the summer of 2010. We had 8 of us, and the whole place to ourselves overnight, on a quiet Monday. We came away with a lot of experiences, and evidence. AMAZING PLACE! Here is the start of some of that footage. This is from our 8 channel DVR system. Each channel has audio and video. This is from the feed on the 2nd floor near the end of the hallway where the solarium was. We were told things have been seen looking down the hallway from this vantage point from a Waverly employee. You will see something come off of one wall, and into the other...and also a very odd noise at the beginning of the event.

This is from our very first investigation at a now defunct business in Columbus IN. We had a lot of action coming from this back hallway in the business, so we decided to place a camera back there at the dead end and see what would happen. It sat by itself for two hours without nothing, then something decided to flip the microphone.
